MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

In the hyper fast world we inhabit, we may often find ourselves battling stress, chaos, and uncertainty on a daily basis. The demands of work and personal life can sometimes become overwhelming, leaving us feeling drained and depleted. However, amidst this hustle and bustle, there lies an essential tool that can help us navigate the challenges with grace and strength – Mindful Practices - or minding our own business!

MY BUSINESS - ITS PERSONAL

A few years ago, I found myself juggling multiple projects, dealing with deadlines, and trying to maintain a work-life balance as a solo parent - IT ALL seemed impossible. The stress just about buried me, I was tired constantly, I was drinking too much and I was failing to take care of either my work performance and/or my mental health.

In search of a solution, I stumbled upon the concept of Mindful Resilience. Intrigued, I embarked on a journey to explore practices that could help me build resilience and regain my capacity to live the life I wanted - not just for me, but for my son too!

Through mindfulness meditation, journaling, and embracing self-care routines (got to love a gym visit and a spa!), I discovered a newfound sense of strength and clarity. These practices not only helped me cope with stress but also enhanced my focus, and creativity, not to mention re-birthed my sense of humour!
